Worked in the round, this cowl is worked mainly in stocking stitch with ‘crumpled’ detailing on one side, marked by stitch markers, which are gradually moved sidewise into the work to create a staggered pattern. The cowl is is finished using the cable cast-off, however if you would prefer a simpler method, the basic cast-off looks very similar.
