errata: version F was apparently partially omitted in the final iteration of this pattern. It uses 4 skeins of Zen Yarn Garden Serenity Worsted in colorway Silversmith. Work as for version A using specified needle size for version F. Measurements are 94” (239 cm) in width and 23” (58.5 cm) in depth

Note that this design is not included in the abbreviated version of Knit.Purl (sold at craft stores) that includes designs only (no articles).

Ultimately adjustable and beautifully simple, this lovely shawl looks amazing in any size and any weight yarn. The “elaborated” Print o’ the Wave edging from traditional Shetland lace knitting contrasts nicely with the squishy garter-stitch top to create a wrap that can be worn casually in a heavier-weight yarn or dressed up in a lighter-weight yarn.

Pattern includes instructions for heavy laceweight, fingering weight singles, 2-ply fingering, and worsted weight yarns.

Note that although the book specifies 2 skeins for shawls D and E, the samples were knit using one skein.
