This Crystal Lace Purse pattern incorporates a diamond lace pattern where a contrasting liner fabric highlights the eyelet holes. That alone creates numerous possibilties. It is knitted on a double sided knitting board that has a minimum of 38 pegs per side so that makes it easy. It was knitted on the Noble Knitter 50 knitting board, but other knitting boards that give similar gauge could be used.

The size as shown is 11” X 10” but it could be easily increased/decreased.

Just by changing the yarn, the purse style can be changed. The purse on the left, was created using a cotton/ rayon blend in Blue Lustre. For a more casual look, the purse on the right was made using an acylic yarn in Dusty Blue.
