I wrote this pattern to look like I was wearing crystals as texture in my socks and I am very happy with the results, especially using a sparkly yarn.
These socks are knit toe up with an afterthought heel construction and can be knitting using either dpns or circular needles of 80cm or longer for magic loop.
Gauge varies for everyone but i use 2.5 mm needles and made a 64 st sock and it fit my slender feet with some ease. If you want a tighter sock then alter the stitch count by 4 stitches or go down a needle size to 2.25mm needles.
There is a Kal in the Ravelry group GothHeart Creations so cast on and join in the fun.
I only used 264 m to make a nice mid calf length pair of socks and I have a Uk 7 or Us 9 foot if that helps.
The pattern pdf has a video tutorial for two of the stitches used. One of which i made up for this pattern and haven’t seen it used anywhere else so yey!
Thank you for choosing to buy the pattern if you do, I really appreciate the support.
