Chtulhu Toque - Geek Knit

My brother dropped hints about a Chtulhu toque for Christmas that he saw on pinterest and really liked. The inspiration was on etsy by American Yarncore: http://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/76365767/cthulhu-ski-mask-...
However I wanted to make my own. After extensive searches the only patterns that came even remotely close were all crocheted so I made my own.

Need:
Size 6 circular needles (it’s what I had on hand could probably also use a size 8)
Size 8 double pointed needles
Stitch marker
Stich holder or spare circular needle

Yarn:
I used 1 skein of swamp green medium weight yarn
(I used red heart super soft - I wanted something machine washable and dry-able.)
