NOTES
This tote is constructed out of five squares. The body of the tote is made out of four equal granny square panels using a centered double crochet (cdc) pattern worked in the round. While the tote’s bottom is worked flat with a slipped double crochet stitch pattern. Once all five parts of the tote are completed, they are first steamed to match identically, the four granny squares are then pleated diagonally with steam. The tote’s panels are then seamed together to form a circle/loop, and the bottom part is attached to the body of the tote using a slip stitch method. The tote’s opening is reinforced using slip stitch. Once all the ends are woven in, the seams are steamed. Tote’s fabric can be reinforced by spraying with a stiffening solution on the inside and/or on the outside. When the tote is completely dry, the handles are stitched at the opening of the tote, and purse feet are installed and magnet closure is sewn in (if desired).

Stitch count provided is for counting the dc/cdc sts.
