This piece is a mixture of two of my favorite garments, a lacy shawl and a warm cowl. Unlike lacy shawls, this garment stays in place, and provides a nice layer of clothing to protect neck and chest while keeping you in style. This cowl is knitted top down. The first part is knitted flat, to be joined later to knit in the round. It displays a simple diamond motif that decorates its surface. Add a lace edge and you will enjoy a wide, warm and comfy garment that will quickly become a favorite in cooler weather.
