This scarf pattern was inspired by a scarf seen on an episode of Gilmore Girls. This is an extremely basic pattern, so it’s perfect for beginning knitters.

The scarf is worked lengthwise in rows along 5.0mm circular needles (I recommend at least 29” to accommodate all the stitches). Any worsted weight yarn can be used (I used less than 1 skein of I Love This Yarn) for each stripe. Gauge isn’t crucial and the pattern can easily be adapted to fit your style.
