HOW IT IS WORKED
The pillow panels are worked in the round resulting in a slight spiral to the square. The crochet material itself is dense enough to hold its form. The front panel is adorned with a cupcake applique and french knots for sprinkles before crocheting them together. The applique is made in three parts, the cup, frosting, and cherry. The cup is made first using front loops only and back loops only technique. The frosting is made in one long strip with increases and decreases, and then overlapped and sewn. The sprinkles are worked with embroidery french knots in a random pattern.
