Doesn’t this potholder make you want to bake something? Chocolate or vanilla not your favorite? Simply change up the colors to make any flavor cupcake that suits your fancy!

This is not a step by step tutorial, but I have added several photos with detailed notes explaining stitch placement for working along the ends of rows and the edging so most crocheters will find this an easy pattern.

FINISHED SIZE: 10 x 10 inches at widest points

MATERIALS: Size G/6/4.25mm hook; worsted weight cotton yarn: 2.5 oz cake color, 2.5 oz icing color, 3 yds red; tapestry needle; 1” plastic ring; sewing needle; sewing thread to match icing color.

Sugar’n Cream yarn in Warm Brown, Pastel Print, Country Yellow, Rose Pink, and Red were used for sample projects.

GAUGE: 4 sc stitches and 4 sc rows per 1 inch
