Two patterns - a baby blanket (baby afghan) pattern, and a matching baby hat pattern (size 0-3 months).

The baby blanket or afghan in lace design is made with baby sport worsted (category 2) yarn and size I/9 (5.5 mm) crochet hook. About 1100 yards of yarn needed. Note that the hook size is larger than recommended for baby sport yarn; I used a larger size hook to create a soft, lacy texture (using the recommended size hook will give you a denser texture).

The finished blanket measures approximately 36 by 30 inches.

The size of the baby hat is 0-3 months. Finished size is approximately 12 inches in circumference and 4.5 inches in height. About 60 yards of yarn needed.

The skill level is advanced beginner. The blanket pattern can easily be adjusted to a bigger or smaller size. The multiple for the stitch is included in the pattern.

The hat pattern comes in only one size, 0-3 months.

The pattern is written in English, using the US crochet terminology.
