This pattern has both charts and written instructions for the stitch patterns.

This pattern is written for two sizes using two different yarn weights:

• The M (60x28”) size is worked in fingering weight on US 8 needles at a gauge of 12 sts and 24 rows = 4” in garter stitch.

• The L (74x30”) size is worked in lace weight on US 7 needles at a gauge of 18 sts & 42 = 4” rows in garter stitch.

For the sample shawls I used aprox 340 yards for the M (fingering wt shawl) and 675 yards for the L (lace wt shawl)
