The Curragh of Kildare is a traditional ballad based on poem by Robbie Burns. Like so many ballads it tells the story of young love. The intertwining cables seem a perfect representation for the complicated nature of relationships.


Pattern Notes
Knit in the round from the bottom up, this hat is chock full of cable fun. The thick yarn makes it a quick knit a large or small crowning pom pom adds a final fun touch! A template with instructions for creating the pom poms is included.

Some cables are worked on alternate rounds while others are crossed every round.

Both charts and written directions for charts are provided.
