The second shawl of New Lines, a collection inspired by Art Nouveau released between Nov 2012 and Feb 2013. The full collection can be purchased at a discounted price; updates are sent when a new pattern is added.

The form of the lily was often used by artists of the Art Nouveau movement, as the graceful flower lent itself well to curving lines. This top-down shawl has a gentle crescent shape with a delicate border of lilies hanging upside down and is worked in cozy DK or worsted weight yarn.

Written instructions are used, with a schematic chart of the lily motif for reference. Skill level: Intermediate.
