I was pleased to be able to contribute a face cloth pattern to the 2013 Calender of Hope. The calender is the brain child of Cindy Moore, who herself had breast cancer.

This year, the calendar features 14 never-before-published knitting patterns. All of the patterns may be used to knit items for your favorite charity.

Everyone involved, including all the designers, sample knitters and tech editors who worked on the calender receive no remuneration, so that ALL proceeds can go to the Army of Women who is looking for the CAUSE of breast cancer. Awareness is great, but we really need to get at the causes of cancer.

The Calendar of Hope is in its 5th year and has raised over $5,000 for breast cancer so far.
