Custody is a basic garter stitch scarf. Short row garter stitch triangles are used to embellish the scarf on either side and highlight a complementary yarn. Included in the design are ribbing effects around the neck area. If you are a beginner and want to try knitting something a little more challenging this pattern is for you. You will learn easy short rows, which are based on the double stitch method. Pictures explain how to make this double stitch and how to knit it when encountered on the next row. Two edge stitches are knitted along both edges to provide a clean edge.
Gauge is not important as long as you use the Fingering Weight yarn and the recommended needle size.
