A fun stranded knitting project on a small enough scale to be your first colorwork project! This little cap, perfect for babies up to 3m, is knit in a cotton/acrylic blend (so machine wash/dry) that knits up quickly on #7 needles.

The bit of colorwork adds some fun while the spiral decrease, ending in an i-cord loop, adds just a bit of whimsy. Yarn required is about 55 yards of MC, 5 yards of a CC1, and 2 yards of a CC2.

The final cap measures: 12-inches (unstretched) at ribbing, 16-1/2 inches above ribbing and 6-inches from hem to loop, perfect for 0-3m babies.
