Materials needed

Worsted weight (4) yarn, I used Bernat Giggles
F/5 – 3.75mm hook
Tapestry needle

Gauge

2 dc/hdc clusters and 2 rows = 1 inch
(4 sts and 2 rows = 1 inch)

Abbreviations

ch = chain
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
st = stitch
sts = stitches
sl st = slip stitch
dc2tog = double crochet 2 together
F/O = fasten off

Special Instructions

dc/hdc clusters: Yarn over, insert hook into stitch and pull up a loop. Yarn over and pull through 2 hoops twice (double crochet). Yarn over and insert hook into the same stitch as the double crochet, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through all 3 loops.

Dc2tog: yarn over and insert hook into next stitch. Yarn over and pull up a loop (3 loops on hook). Yarn over and pull through 2 loops (2 loops left on your hook). Now yarn over again and insert hook into the next stitch and pull up a loop (4 loops on hook). Yarn over and pull through 2 loops (3 loops left on your hook), now yarn over and pull through all 3 loops. Here is a photo tutorial of how to dc2tog.
