Practise your colour-work skills with this cute baby bib. This is knit in stripes, with Swiss darning (duplicate stitch) embroidery to add the heart when finished. The side edges are added by picking up and knitting stitches along an edge. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the bib is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles.

NEEDLES
A pair of 4.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 7).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Paintbox Yarns Simply DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 25g in each colour.


NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, stitch holder and a 10mm button.

SIZES
One size only - 20cm wide; you can make the strap longer or shorter to fit.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, k2tog decrease and yarnover increase, and a little seaming to finish.
