This is a pattern for a cute little amigurumi cactus.

It’s a very simple design using basic amigurumi techniques. You can use any sort of yarn you like. I used 8 ply 100% Merino wool from Spotlight, but it works just as well with acrylic.

I’d suggest going down a hook size from the recommended size for the yarn to ensure a tight stitch.

All you will need is:

Yarn of your choice, including a green for the main body, something to represent the soil in the pot and scraps for embellishments and eyes.
Hook
Yarn needle
Small terracotta pot

Feel free to play around with it - change the face, add more branches, or anything else

I hope you enjoy it!
