This pretty cowl is worked in the round and uses a lovely stitch combination of half double crochet and crossed half double crochet along with the 3rd loop method to create eye-catching raised lines.

The ADULT size single colour pattern is FREE on my website.

The low cost PDF pattern includes two sizes: Adult and Child and full instructions for working in single and two-colour.
Both sizes work up quickly so are wonderful for a last-minute gift idea.

Skill Level: Intermediate.

The instructions for the stitches and techniques used are fully explained in the PDF pattern along with photos.

Recommended Yarn:
Hobbycraft Women’s Institute Soft & Smooth Aran (100% acrylic). Approx. 90-180 yards (depending on size). Recommended because it is beautifully soft and anti-pilling. This keeps your cowl looking great for longer.

Substitute – Your fav aran/worsted weight acrylic or blend yarn.

Hooks: US Size J (6.0mm) crochet hooks or to suit your gauge/tension.

Sizes/Finished Measurements:
Adult: 11” wide (22” circumference) by 7” height
Child: 9.5” wide (19” circumference) by 5” height

This pattern has been tested in both sizes to help ensure an error free pattern, but if you have any difficulties at all, pattern support is always available, just contact me.
