I learned long ago to allow your senses to tell the story when writing—why not do the same with decorating? Use all five senses to create a more powerful style; sight, smell, taste, sound, and touch are textures we can create with our decorating choices. When you place bold textures into your design, you breathe new life into your décor. You heighten the flavor, so to speak. Texture adds sensory interest to a room. This is another pattern that would make a great scarf, if knit longer.
