Both written and charted instructions are given in this beautiful pattern.

Since the fern pattern is 10 rows, you can vary the length of your
scarf to fit your needs. It also makes an easy take-along project.

Supplies needed:
Size US 8 knitting needles or size needed for gauge
Size US F crochet hook (for crochet cast on)
Yarn or tapestry needles (for weaving and securing your tails)
Worsted Weight yarn, 220 to 440 yards - this will vary depending
on the length of your scarf
Gauge: 21 stitches = 4.5 inches, 10 rows = 2.5 inches

I’ve used a crochet cast on to provide matching stitches at each end of the scarf. Feel free to use your favorite cast on.
