When I was little, I loved making strings of paper dolls. Although, I would often pass on the standard girl in a dress shape in favor of something more interesting. I thought of this while designing the Cyclops Friends Mittens, a string of happy little monsters, wrapping around my daughter’s mittens. This is a fairly simple fair isle pattern, knitted stranded and in the round. It’s a good introduction to fair isle if you’ve been itching to try it yourself.
