Da Ba Dee Bam Boo is a quite simple colorwork shawl easily adaptable to any sizes: just repeat the Chart A as many times as you want!
The shawl construction is a traditional triangular shape with increases at both ends and along the spine, garter st. edge, easy textured stitch and a basic lace pattern along the diagonal.
Lace pattern available in both written and charted directions.
Size : 55”/140cm wide and 20”/51cm long at centre spine
Gauge : 20 sts & 28 rows = 10 cm/4” in bamboo st after blocking
Rowan Felted Tweed DK (50% Merino, 25% Rayon, 25% Alpaca; 191 yd/175m per 50g skein);
MC: 2 skeins shown in 161 Avocado; CC: 1 skein shown in 160 Gilt
or approx 320 yards in MC/190 yards in CC of sport/light DK weight yarn.
