Hello to you all! If you want to make a simple slouchy beanie with a unique design, then I’ve got you covered. With a lovely wavy pattern that gives it volume, this beanie will keep your head warm when walking outside on cold days and nights. I used a burgundy red yarn with specks to knit it, but you can make it in your favorite color using any aran or worsted yarn available to you.

Sizes and measurements:

  • Size S/M: head circumference = 20”- 21” (50- 53 cm), hat height = 9” (23 cm).
  • Size M/L: head circumference = 22”- 23” (56- 58 cm), hat height = 9.5” (24 cm).

Materials:

  • Yarn: Alize Superlana Midi Mosaic, 25% wool, 75% acrylic, 3.53 oz (100 g), 186 yards (170 m), in the color “5227” (1 skein, for all sizes).
  • Circular knitting needles, 16” (40 cm) long, sizes US 8 (5 mm) and US 10 (6 mm).
  • Double pointed needles (DPNs) set, size US 10 (6 mm).
  • Tapestry needle.
  • Ring stitch marker.
