These slippers have been swirling around in my head for three years, and in that time I have probably made no less than 20 revisions to the directions, style, gauge, and construction. Every so often I would get an idea for an improvement here or a handy tip there. And now, FINALLY, after all this time, I feel like I have written The Perfect Slipper Pattern.

If you’re used to making fingering weight socks, you’ll finish these at light speed! Just a toe, sole, heel, and a bit of ribbing. Plus, the sport weight yarn adds a little extra padding to your soles, since these will most likely be worn without shoes.

The base slipper is the same for all 4 styles, so you don’t need to make up your mind which one you want until the end.

One 100 gram/325 yard ball makes 2 pairs of slippers.
