These bootees are a great small project to make for a baby shower or match to the traditional bonnet in soft shades of retro pastels. I have designed them in a beautiful blend of merino wool and cotton for ultimate comfort, but they will work in any medium-weight yarn. The stitches are very simple: my favorite seed stitch and stockinette stitch. The bootees have a strap fastened with a mother-of-pearl button to fit securely on the tiny foot. I am sure you will want to make a pair in every color, just as I did!
