Daisy Afghan
by kraftling
Though we’re still snowed under in my part of the world, spring is here. To remind myself that, yes, the snow will depart soon, I created this vibrant daisy motif Afghan.
The pattern was somewhat inspired by Spanish tile work, and is made up of octagon and square pieces that are then crocheted together.
I used Red Heart Soft Touch yarn in three colours -- tangerine, turquoise, and charcoal -- and used 3 skeins of each to create this 4 foot by 5 foot throw. You’ll require only a 5 mm hook and some time. To be able to crochet this piece, you’ll need to know how to make basic crochet stitches, and the instructions are based on US crochet terms.
