You don’t have to be green-fingered to produce this flower-bed that blooms all year round!

Daisy, Daisy is a large rectangular shawl, which can be worn in a variety of ways; across your shoulders as a stole, folded as a triangular shawl, or worn as a warm scarf around your neck - the choice is yours!

The shawl is composed of a central lace section, surrounded by intervals of stocking stitch and lace, knit in contrasting colours.
As you’ll notice very early on, the lace pattern produces some beautiful flowers!

The shawl can be knit in heavier yarns than laceweight, however I would recommend sticking to the same weight for both the main and contrasting colours.

I suggest working in a needle size slightly larger than recommended for your yarn, in order to open up the lacework nicely.

As with all of my patterns, the lace section is charted and colour-coded for simplicity. Having said that the lace pattern is deceivingly simple!

The worst thing that can happen to you while knitting this shawl is that you end up singing “ Give me your answer, Do!”!!
