April’s birth month flower is the daisy! Although most people think of white and yellow colors when they think of a daisy, there are actually many other beautiful colors, one of my favorites being purple! Having a purple daisy close by is thought to provide a sense of clarity, focus, and understanding about life’s greater purpose. Creativity, imagination, soul-searching, introspection and openness are also symbols that the purple shade of this flower represents.

Find your own symbolism and make this pattern in your own favorite colors!

This double knit square makes a great gift for your friends born in February! If you’re unfamiliar with double knitting, this small potholder is a great way to learn this knitting technique. Both sides are the same, except with reversed colors. You’ll get the accomplishment of finishing a beautiful project and the confidence of adding a new skill to your knitting basket.

With this instantly downloadable PDF pattern, you’ll have all the help you need to get started!
This pattern includes written instructions, a chart, and links to video tutorials for the invisible cast on, invisible bind off, slip stitch edging, and I-cord loop. You’ll end up with a professional looking finished project that you’ll be proud to give as a gift or keep and put on display.
