After knitting Beekman Tavern, I still wanted to do more with Foxhill Farm’s gorgeous Cormo yarn. This design is named Daisy because I think that’s the perfect sheep name - and because I’m pretty sure Alice, who runs Foxhill and knows everybody in the flock - has told me about a sheep named Daisy before.

This is a quick, classic design that knits up in no time. It’s a little feminine and simple enough to go with everything. The combination of lace and cables showcases the squishy, luxurious feel of the cormo perfectly, and this creamy shade of white is absolutely perfect. It seems like something Ali Mc Graw in Love Story would have worn, and I love that.

So if you see a booth that says Foxhill Farm at your local Fiber Festival, say hi to Sue and Alice and pick up a skein and give this yarn a try. You may end up wanting a sweater next…
