The shawl is worked from the neck outwards and down towards the lower edge.
Stockinette sections in the main colour are alternated with curved motifs in the pattern and contrast colours, created using stacked increases and decreases.
The contrast colour remains the same throughout the shawl, but the pattern colour changes.
Increases are made at the beginning and end of all right-side rows, as well as within the pattern sections.
