Great for the Dr. Who fan in your household.

You can use any colors you wish and as many colors as you wish. You can also personalize the 3D effect by adding more stitches to the bobble and more stitches to the eye stalk, plunger, and stalk. I kept them a bit stubby as a personal preference. There is some great detailing by using back post and front post stitches as well as slip stitching and using the front and back loops.

This pattern is worked in continuous rounds unless otherwise noted. Use a stitch marker or piece of yarn to mark your place. It is best to watch how your colors appear as you work so that connecting stitches look appropriate.

Materials
Yarn: Category 4 worsted or light worsted weight acrylic yarn: 100yrd/90m Color A (usually black or gray)
100yrd/90m Color B (main color for the body)
about 3yrd/3m of black
about 1yd/1m of blue, white or red. Hook Size H: 5mm
Yarn Needle
Stich Marker (optional)
Gauge
Rounds 1-3 (including magic ring) should measure approximately 2in/ 5cm. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.
