Damask is one of those designs that grew from my hook as I doodled. It doesn’t look at all like what I originally envisioned, but I love its Victorian look. I was inspired by the meandering textures of old damask napkins and tablecloths.

Choose your own favorite colors for the flower centers-- these remind me of a series of fabrics that were popular in the 1940’s. Toss it on over a sundress or a t-shirt and jeans to lend a romantic air to any summer evening.

EDITED TO ADD: While the original yarn has been discontinued, I think Premier Bamboo Fair would substitute nicely, and I am stitching up a larger version in Cascade Yarns Ultra Pima and will add photos when that is done.

One size - 19” tall at center back, 46” wide
