Norwegian

Vintage pattern from Norway’s craft cooperative.

Editors Note: The gauge is as listed in the leaflet but as you can see makes little sense for a yarn listed at a recommended 22 stitches/10 cm. on modern skeins. It is quite possible that the row and stitch gauge are reversed and it should be 26 stitches and 28 rows in 10 cm. In that case, the chest measurement would be a more logical, but still snug, 101 cm. At 24 stitches/10cm which is the stated gauge for most patterns of this era that list a gauge at all, the sweater would measure a more roomy 110 cm.

Colors: 400 grams each of two colors.

Pattern is in Norwegian.
