Danaya cardigan is made for 12 - 18 months baby. The measurements are: chest circumference 54cm, length 30cm, sleeve 30cm, width at the bottom 64cm. This garment has positive ease and doesn’t restrict baby’s movements.

Cardigan is worked in one piece top down flat raglan method and sleeves are incorporated in the process. You won’t have to cut off yarn when working on sleeves and sewing is not required. Very little weaving in tails will be required which is a huge plus for a lot of knitters who usually don’t like weaving in ends : )

I used Rowan Summerlite 4 ply yarn for the project. It’s 100% cotton yarn. Ball weigth 50g (1.8oz), length 175m (191 yds). You will need 3 to 4 balls to complete this project.

The gauge is 28sts x 36rows = 10cm in stockinette.

You will need 3mm circular needles for the project, stitch holders (optional), stitch markers for your convenience, crochet hook, 3 buttons, sewing needle for the buttons.

Instruction how to work on the cardigan are written clearly, every step is explained and stitch counts provided. I also included some video tutorials to make your work easier.
