Sock Madness is over for the year. This pattern is now available to the public. If you recieved the pattern via Sock Madness, please download this updated version.

Dance Hall is the Sock Madness 9/Round 5 bonus sock design.

The first release in the Kickers series.

These ladies are toe-up, with a twist. A bit of decoration on the instep, then onto a short-rowed padded heel. The gusset uses my interpretation of a reversed Sky architecture (Cat Bordhi). A reinforced heel segues into a lace patterned leg. The custon designed cuff provides a bit more fun to the whole design.

The blue pair were knit in Wooly Wonka’s Rhiannon. I love Anne’s yarns!
The brownish socks were knit in overdyed Lion Brand Sock Ease. Note: I’m waiting for better light to photograph this pair.

At this time, the only size fully tested is the Ladies’ Medium. When the other sizes are ready, I will update the pattern and let y’all know

Be warned: these socks may use more yardage than you expect due to the extended use of heel stitch to create a reinforced/padded heel.
