After seeing Galadriel Mattei’s hats made with recycled sweaters and watch bands I set out to design my own handknit version. I wanted a heavily textured knit with a big band and buckle. My search at a local thrift store uncovered this great metal mesh belt and paired with a fingering weight yarn and some random wavy cables, I came up with Dance Practice. You could use a variety of belt and buckle styles to create your own one of kind knits. Instructions are given for both a belt band and watch band styles.
