INSTRUMENTS

• NEEDLES US 7 - 4.5 mm
(I used circular needles with detachable cables 60cm/24” and 100cm/40’’.
I also used US 6-4mm double-pointed needles (sock needles) for the garter tab cast-on. But it’s not necessary; you can also use regular circular needles.)

• HOOK 4 mm-G-6

• NOTIONS
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers
• Scissors
• Blocking pins

• DIFFICULTY LEVEL-BEGINNER. You should be able to comfortably use techniques: knit & purl, cast-on & bind-off, increasing, yarn over, and garter stitch.

• This shawl is knitted from the center top down with increases at the start, the centerline and at the end of every RS row

• The pattern begins with an optional garter tab cast on and is worked from the top down. Markers are placed to indicate where to make increases. For every other row, we’ll increase until the shawl reaches the desired size.

• At the end, we’ll adorn the edge of the shawl with a wave-like ruffle and bind off to complete the shawl.
• Detailed video tutorial for all techniques used during the knitting process is added.
