This quick shells cowl makes a great gift that’s fun to make. There is the wide ranged options of beautifully colored fibers to use by combining multiple strands or you can make it with the suggested yarn. While it is sized for tween-adult, you can also easily use a lighter weight yarn and a hook size to match the yarn for a smaller version.

Materials
 Yarn: Super Bulky Weight Yarn or 2 strands of heavier worsted weight yarn (substitution with light yarn weight per Lion Brand Here) Yarns used in project photos: Lionbrand Hometown USA® 1 Ball New York White and 1 Ball Fort Worth Blue
 Hook: J (6mm) to N (10mm) – please note that Bates size N is 10mm while majority of other hooks are N (9mm). Tension between crocheters are different. Please use the hook that achieves gauge. I used N (10mm).
