the gauge isn’t matter, you can knit the size you want. The shawl at the picture has a measure of 230cm between the corners and has needed 190grams yarn with 550m/100gr. Specially designed for colorful yarns. With charts.

errata: the required yarn is 460m/100gr, but you can use any other yarn too.
