Dannica scarf is knit flat from end to end, there are both full written and charted instructions.
The end shaping is achieved by the cables, which can be blocked square if that is your preference.
The main body of the scarf is worked in a combination of textured stitches with a single rope cable extending through the centre of the scarf. You can adjust the length of the scarf by working as many or as few repeats of the cable.

The end motifs are approximately 25cm/10 inches long

400m yeilds a scarf approximately 150cm/60 inches long by 20cm/8 inches wide

Gauge is not critical to this pattern but will affect size and yarn requirements.
