A lacy, strappy top worked top-down and in the round in a laurel leaf pattern.

Daphne was a girl who, when pursued by the god Apollo in an amorous mood, was transformed into a laurel tree to escape his attentions. Apollo promptly adopted the laurel as his own holy tree, and thus poets are adorned with laurel wreaths.
I designed this for the Ravellenic Games 2012; hence the references to Greek mythology.
