The simple texture of the Daphne cowl mimics the delicate yet sophisticated bark of a laurel tree. In Greek mythology Daphne’s father turns her into a laurel tree to save her from Apollo. I originally named this cowl after Groot since the texture reminded of my favorite houseplant slash muscle from the Guardians of the Galaxy.
