This cowl was designed to show off this drapey alpaca yarn.
It is knit in the round with a simple lace panel inspired by late summer sunlight passing through trees.
It can be worn pulled up as a hood, or slouched around the neck.

The pattern includes charted and written instructions for the Lace panel.

Gauge:19 st over 10 cm in stocking stitch using 4.5 mm circular needle, 60 cm long.
Gauge is not critical for fit of this project, but will affect the amount of yarn used. I had just 3.5 metres left over from this project!

Yarn Juniper Moon Farm Herriot Heathers, 1 skein. I used shade 1007 Mountains Majesty

Notions: Darning needle for weaving in ends. Stitch marker to mark beginning of round.
