Dappled is designed to be a wardrobe staple, with an easy-to-wear shape and an easy care yarn. Each piece is worked flat from the bottom up and stitched, with the right shoulder seamed before stitches are picked up to create the neck. The folded hem, cuffs and neckband give a minimal look and can be knitted into place as you go or stitched afterwards. I left the hem open for a more relaxed look.

Designed with 4” (10cm) of positive ease:
Finished chest sizes are:
32, 34, 26, 38, 40, 42” (81, 86, 91, 96, 101, 116 cm)

In addition to 3.25mm needles you will need 4-ply yarn in these quantities:
350, 400, 400, 450, 500, 500g
1400, 1600, 1600, 1800, 2000, 2000 metres
1533, 1752, 1752, 1971, 2190, 2190 yards

Although this pattern uses just knit and purl stitches and minimal shaping, the stitching and construction make it better suited to knitters with some experience.
