This little dress was designed for a friend of mine. It is meant to be comfortable, lightweight, and easy going for a babe about her business. The yarn is an affordable, washable cotton/linen blend. Washable is good for young ones and the cotton/linen blend is good for all but the hottest days. My friend lives in Atlanta so I figure the dress can be worn for all but the hottest months in the middle of the year. The dress is also easy and quick to knit, making it a good gift. It is worked seamlessly, in the round, from the top down. The round yoke requires simple increases and you will also have to change colors in the yoke and hem. Dress is worked in the round from the top down in one piece.
