Please Note: this is a companion pattern to the Davinci Cowl series of patterns. You must know how to find your personal code as shown in the other designs. I do not include how to do this in this pattern.

Planned colour pooling is used to achieve the vertical blocks of colour in this fun and unique cowl. The beauty of Wollmeise yarn and the saturation of the colour which is typical in their yarns makes for a stunning finished knit.

It has a fold under hem for a crisp bottom edge and a splash of design with the rib border at the top edge just to keep it interesting. This is a shorter and narrower cowl than the original DaVinci Cowl so that it can be worn as a cooler summer cowl. It can easily be adapted by simply knitting it with more height and making it wider so you can wrap it twice around your neck.

The pattern should state that the circulars were both 24” in length.

I used 80 grams of the skein.

Enjoy!
