Brioche knitting is different from regular knitting in that you are always required to work a couple of stitches. In one stitch you slip and the other you work. Because you are working with pairs, you are creating a reversible and very cushy fabric.

Day into Night is a Brioche Scarf with optional beading. The beads are applied on the “right” side of the work and will not appear on the “wrong” side. This effect creates a totally reversible scarf with no beads for day wear and sparkly beads for your night fun.

This scarf can be made with any yarn weight by adjusting the number of columns and repeats of the Day into Night Chart.

A special thank you to Nancy Marchant for introducing me to the wonderful world of Brioche.
